Massage at Work Explained

Massageworks provides a range of Massage at Work Services. For specific advice on which types would be most suitable for your organisation or if you have a type of massage in mind that is not listed below, please contact us.

Seated Acupressure

Specifically designed for the workplace, Seated Acupressure is the stand out treatment for massage at work. Carried out with the employee sitting in a specially designed chair, treatments are through the clothes, use no oils and take 20 or 30 minutes per person.

The massage concentrates solely on the key stress carrying areas; the back, shoulders, neck, scalp and arms. It incorporates techniques to roll the muscles for the  release of tension and anxiety, works on pressure points to create balance and stimulates the blood supply to increase energy. You go straight back to your desk relaxed and revitalised.

Reflexology is a pressure point massage carried out almost entirely on the feet. It works on the belief that each part of the foot is related energetically to a particular area of the body.

Reflexology combines well as an offering with Seated Acupressure by providing an alternative to those who prefer not to receive a more direct style of massage.

Table Massage - Therapeutic Massage, Aromatherapy and Sports Massage

Table Massage refers to a style of massage whereby the client lies on a Massage Table.

Therapeutic Massage and Aromatherapy utilise a Massage Oil and are carried out directly on the skin, in the latter case incorporating Essential Plant Oils. Sports Massage is a system of massage where the intended results are focused around the recipients participation in sport.
